How strange, most of the survey websites I have visited/takenpart in didn't need a credit card... I think those were definitely scams. Well, the best way to work online is to employ yourself - make a website & post ads on it (there's free website hosting available & you can even just use a free blog). That's available internationally (obviously) BUT will take a long long time.

It's an australian based site but you can take surveys anywhere on Earth. Be warned that before being able to take surveys, you have to take a screener ... and most of the time, they tell you that you didn't qualify for the survey.
